Job summary

Ami Network in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced RN to join its Health Sciences department as Nurse Aide Faculty & Program Coordinator. The role blends clinical expertise with teaching, mentorship, curriculum development, and program leadership to prepare healthcare professionals.

You will teach Nurse Aide/Health Sciences courses and serve as the program’s primary coordinator, collaborating with the Dean of Allied Health and clinical partners to advance curriculum, student outcomes, and program

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado RN license or unrestricted multi-state compact RN license.
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience.
  • At least 1 year of long-term care experience.
  • Experience teaching adults or qualifying Nurse Aide management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Nurse Aide/Health Sciences courses in classroom, lab, clinical, hybrid, and/or online formats.
  • Mentor and advise students through academic and clinical development.
  • Coordinate clinical placements and student clinical experiences.
  • Develop and evaluate curriculum based on industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor student outcomes, certification pass rates, retention, and program success.
  • Coordinate and support Nurse Aide instructors.
  • Maintain program compliance, reporting, clinical agreements, and required documentation.
  • Participate in program assessment, advisory committees, and partnerships.
  • Help strengthen and grow the Nurse Aide program.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree/BSN, Nurse Aide teaching experience, higher education experience, skills-based testing and assessment, curriculum development, clinical-site coordination, program accreditation, or data/reporting experience. A Colorado CTE Health Sciences/Nurse Aide endorsement.
