Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities North Pointe is hiring a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily personal care, mobility, and medication administration in a caring, compliant manner. This role emphasizes emotional well-being through meaningful interactions and joyful daily care.

Aimed at building lasting relationships within a supportive team. The position offers a full-time schedule with NOC shifts and weekend rotation, plus shift differentials and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for NOC coverage.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year experience or more as an RA in a long-term care setting (Nursing or Assisted Living) preferred
• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Training in health-related disciplines and/or experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (e.g., bathing, grooming, hygiene)
• Support residents with mobility and transfers
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with regulations
• Foster emotional well-being by creating positive, meaningful interactions
• Strive to bring joy and smiles to residents through daily care and support
