Qualifications

• Must hold a current STNA certification in Ohio.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience and respect for residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow care plans, policies and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform required physical duties, with or without accommodations.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Provide compassionate care while respecting residents' privacy, dignity, and individual needs.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents' requests.
• Document care accurately and complete assigned duties according to facility policies.
• Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with nurses and other team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have a current, valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio.
