Job summary

St. Paul's Assisted Living in Indiana is seeking a compassionate QM A to join our healthcare team for the night shift. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and document care activities to ensure safety and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds current Indiana QM A certification, has experience in long-term care, and works well with residents, families, and staff to provide respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current QM A certification in Indiana.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Compassionate, patient and empathetic demeanor with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers in compliance with state regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in health, reporting observations to nursing staff or healthcare providers.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration, treatments, and resident care activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Support the nursing staff in responding to emergencies and providing prompt care to residents.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families.
