Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living in Orlando, FL. The role provides direct nursing care and supervises day-to-day nursing tasks performed by CNAs in accordance with state and federal standards.

The position is full-time with a night shift (Sunday–Saturday 11:00pm–7:00am). Requires FL LPN license and CPR certification; 1 year SNF or related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as an LPN.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or medically related area.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines.
• Assist with evaluation of residents' needs.
• Assist with planning resident care based on MD orders.
• Implement resident care based on MD orders and communicate updates to MD.
• Ensure residents receive medicines as prescribed.
• Monitor blood glucose, temperature and blood pressure.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting).
• Ensure CNAs follow MD orders.
