Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Westminster Lakeland AL facility. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards.

The shift is 7AM–7PM, with a minimum of three days per week and every other weekend. The role requires Florida LPN licensure and CPR certification, with 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of long-term care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Assisted Living residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by CNAs.
• Plan and implement resident care based on MD orders.
• Ensure medications are administered as prescribed.
• Monitor glucose, temperature and blood pressure.
• Assist residents with daily living activities.
