Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Mason, OH is hiring for a full-time Resident Care Aide to support seniors on the night shift (7pm-7am). Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, transport within the community, and following care plans to monitor residents’ health.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and meeting state requirements; CPR is preferred, and experience with elderly residents is valued.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful and respectful countenance expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as grooming and bathing.
• Maintain residents' personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident requests and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and follow resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
