Job summary

Homewood Living Plum Creek is seeking a Night Shift Medication Technician to assist residents with daily living activities, administer medications per physician orders, and document care under licensed staff. The ideal candidate will be state-registry certified, able to lift 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate clearly in English; CPR/First Aid are preferred, LNA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be certified on state registry as a Medication Technician within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to frequently lift and transfer up to 30 pounds of resident weight throughout shift.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn for an eight-hour shift.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform sequential tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• CPR certification and basic First Aid preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state where care is provided a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while encouraging independence.
• Administer and record medications as ordered by physician, per certification regulations.
• Observe, record, and report changes in resident condition to head nurse.
• Prepare and assist with resident care as planned, including lifts/transfers.
