Boston Baby Nurses LLC in Needham, MA seeks a professional, long-term nanny for a newborn girl. The role requires warmth, punctuality, organization, and strong communication to grow with the family.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm with potential extra hours. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and guaranteed hours. Hourly rate is $40–$42, BOE, with taxes withheld.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 3+ years of childcare experience including infant care.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for the baby including feeding and diapering.
• Establish a developmentally appropriate daily rhythm with tummy time, play, reading, music and outdoor time.
• Care for baby laundry and sanitize bottles, pump parts, and dishes.
• Assist with introduction of solids when ready.
• Clean and sanitize toys and play spaces; stock nursery items.

A warm family in Needham is seeking a professional and confident long-term, full time nanny to care for their newborn daughter (born in mid September). This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced caregiver that is excited about working with the baby to help her grow, develop, and meet all of her milestones. They would love a candidate who will stay with their family for many years!

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Non-smoker
• CPR / First Aid certified
• Vaccinated for Covid, Flu & Tdap
• 3+ years of relevant childcare experience including infant experience
• Valid drivers license, clean driving record is required

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, loving care for the baby including feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate play
• Creating a thoughtful, developmentally appropriate daily rhythm that incorporates tummy time, sensory play, reading, music, outdoor time, age-appropriate activities, and opportunities to support emerging milestones.
• Baby laundry
• Washing/sanitizing any bottles/pump parts/dishes
• Assisting with the introduction of solids when the baby is old enough.
• Cleaning and sanitizing toys/play spaces
• Stocking the nursery and keeping inventory of baby related items
• Emptying diaper trash
• Other baby related tasks as needed

About the Family

This is a welcoming family where both mom and dad work from home most of the week. Mom would love to be able to nurse on days when her schedule is light and would love a nanny that is comfortable working independently as well as partnering with parents throughout the day when they are able. The family would love for the nanny to travel with them on occasion; however, this is not a requirement. They are hoping for a nanny that will become a core member of their family care team and grow with them long term.

Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone who is warm, loving, proactive, punctual, organized, highly communicative, and detail oriented. Candidates should have a strong understanding of early childhood development and how to plan activities that will support their daughter's growth. This person should be excited to grow with the family and adapt as the baby's needs and the family's needs change overtime. Bi-lingual nannies are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

• Location: Needham, MA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm; flexibility for additional hours as needed with notice.

Hours:

Guaranteed 40hrs/wk

• Start Date: November 1st (some flexibility for the right fit)
• Hourly Rate: $40-42/hour BOE; taxes withheld
• Driving Required: Not initially, but potentially in the future
• Travel: Preferred, not required
