Boston Baby Nurses LLC in Wakefield, MA is seeking a warm, experienced nanny for a smiling infant. This part-time role guarantees 24 hours weekly, Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00am-5:00pm, with some flexibility for occasional Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Start date December 14th is possible for the right fit. Ideal candidates are 21+, non-smokers, CPR/First Aid certified, with 3+ years of infant childcare, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

A friendly family in Wakefield is seeking a warm and experience long-term, part-time nanny to care for their infant daughter who will be almost 5 months old at the start of the position. This is a wonderful opportunity for an nanny that thrives caring for young children, loves to get outside and is comfortable supporting the family with baby related household tasks.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Non-smoker
• CPR / First Aid certified

• 3+ years of relevant childcare experience including infant experience

Responsibilities

• Planning creative, age-appropriate activities that will support the baby's developmental milestones.
• Getting baby outside when possible
• Preparing, washing/sanitizing bottles
• Keep baby’s nap schedule on track
• Baby laundry, tidying the nursery, sanitizing baby spaces, taking out diaper trash
• Restocking baby supplies as needed

About the Family

Dad works from home and will be in a shared space when the nanny is heading to the kitchen or laundry area. The nanny will have autonomy throughout the day. The baby has reflux, so candidates should be comfortable with paced feeding, keeping her upright and thorough burping. Additionally, the nanny will need to give the baby her reflux medication each afternoon. Previous reflux experience is a plus!

Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone who is warm, nurturing, and attentive. Candidates should be engaging and excited about spending time with the baby but should also have a calm and gentle approach as she does not love sudden movements or unexpected sounds. Candidates should be strong communicators, have an attention to detail, and be comfortable documenting daily feeds, diapers, naps, etc…

Position Details

• Location: Wakefield, MA
• Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility for occasional Tuesdays or Thursdays is a plus)

Hours

Guaranteed 24hrs/wk

• Start Date: December 14th (slight flexibility for the right fit)
• Hourly Rate: $33-35/hour BOE; taxes withheld
• Driving: Required to arrive at the home & parking is available, but on the job driving will not be needed initially
• Travel: Not required
