Job summary

Boston Baby Nurses LLC is seeking a long-term nanny/family assistant for a Weston, MA family. You will care for a 4‑month‑old, support two older children (8 and 5), and help run a busy household. The role emphasizes proactive, nurturing care and seamless coordination with parents working from home.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, roughly 35–40 hours weekly, with some flexibility and occasional date nights. A driver’s license and dog-friendly approach are required; compensation is age-appropriate

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Non-smoker.
• CPR and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for the 4‑month‑old baby (feeding, diapering, age-appropriate play).
• Support older children (ages 8 and 5) after school, holidays, and days off.
• Plan engaging activities and outings for the children.
• Drive children to activities as needed.
• Handle child-related household tasks (laundry, dishes, bottle washing, tidying).
• Assist with general household tasks when parents are with kids.
• Notice what needs doing and proactively support the household.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Non-smoker
• CPR / First Aid certified
• 3+ years of relevant childcare experience including infant experience
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and comfortable driving children
• Must be comfortable around dogs

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, loving care for the baby including feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate play
• Supporting the older children when they are home from school, including afternoons, school vacations, and days off
• Planning engaging activities, outings, and experiences for the children
• Driving children to activities as needed
• Helping with child-related household tasks including children’s laundry, dishes, bottle washing, tidying, and keeping children’s spaces organized
• Assisting with general household tasks during times when parents are available to be with the children, including family laundry, dishes, vacuuming, organizing, and helping keep the home running smoothly
• Taking initiative to notice what needs to be done and proactively supporting the household

Position Details

• Location: Weston, MA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 35-40 hours per week. The anticipated schedule is:
  • Monday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: Shorter day (schedule flexible)
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

The family is open to some flexibility with the schedule for the right candidate and would appreciate applicants who are open to helping with occasional date nights as well.

• Hours: Approximately 36-40 hours per week (part-time options may also be considered)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hourly Rate: $35-$40/hour BOE; taxes withheld
• Driving Required: Yes; family vehicle may be available for on-the-job driving
• Travel: No travel required
