A sweet family in Brookline is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to care for their 15-month-old and 4-year-old daughters. The toddler is happy, smiley, and very social. The older daughter loves singing, building dioramas, and all things in nature! She is in school full-time M-F, though the role involves school drop off and pick up. The family is hoping to find a nanny who will support each child in their growth, development, and safety throughout the day.
The family is looking for a nanny who is loving, warm, patient, and engaging. The older child is extremely creative and thrives on routine, consistency, and predictability. She has some anxiety about change; however, she has a well-established school routine and some lovies at home that help her feel secure. Upcoming skill goals for her include writing, drawing, and reading. The baby has a motor and developmental delay and is in early intervention. While not yet confirmed, she may have longer-term neurodevelopmental needs requiring continued therapy and accommodations. Nonetheless, she is loving, happy, excitable, and enjoys social exchanges. Therefore, the family seeks someone eager to learn alongside them and implement therapy-informed practices to create a successful environment and routine for her. Additionally, both children have food protein-induced colitis and a dairy and egg intolerance. The parents will provide all relevant food, but it is ok for the girls to be around other foods as long as they are not ingested. Dad may work from home on occasion in a separate workspace, so they appreciate someone who feels confident working independently.
