Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

Join our team of Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication, relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among other industry-leading snacks.

• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’s DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.

• Order products via iPad Tablet for shelves and displays to ensure in-stock conditions.

• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained according to Mondelēz’s guidelines.

• Follow the plans negotiated by Sales Representatives with store managers and communicate any issues to Mondelēz management.

• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient in-store service.

• Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

• Hourly compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 based on experience.

Who is a good fit?

• At least 18 years old, with a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Positive, professional, self-motivated individuals capable of working independently.

• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage reimbursed).

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs, and occasionally pushing or pulling over 50 lbs, including physically moving products and stocking shelves.

• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.

• Reside within 25-35 miles of the primary location Iowa City, IA.

• Secondary location: Cedar Rapids, IA.

• Availability required: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
