Creative Dining Services is hiring a General Food Service Worker at Volunteer State in Gallatin, TN. The role involves preparing and serving foods and beverages across multiple stations, operating a cash register, and helping with daily setup, service, and cleanup.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate or equivalent, with basic reading and math skills and the ability to communicate with guests. Shifts typically run 6am–2pm, Monday–Thursday, with occasional events requiring flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests who visit the work location.

Responsabilités

• Sets up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment and utensils, under detailed instruction, in accordance with specific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas for daily operations; may operate cooking or bakery equipment as assigned.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold meals and beverages.
• Serves food items to customers from counters and/or steam tables, in accordance with specific instructions, ensuring that appropriate portions are served. Replenishes foods, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at serving stations; may order and replenish condiments.
• May clean and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment; collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers; as appropriate to the area of operation.
• Washes pots, pans, and other serviceware ensuring sanitary handling; organizes and replaces serviceware to appropriate location.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
