Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certificate in Interpreting with a State-issued license is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets/transliterates per IEP/504 plans to support students’ access.
• Preview instructional materials and presentations for effective interpretation.
• Collaborates with teachers and staff to support student learning and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality in IEP meetings and related activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in educational interpreting.
