Job summary

Newport Middle School is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to work with a certified middle school math teacher, providing targeted instructional support and math interventions. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or 48+ college credits preferred or ParaPro assessment criteria may apply.
• Strong command of foundational middle school math concepts and ability to support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver math instruction in small groups or one-on-one as planned by the certified teacher.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support student engagement.
• Prepare materials and assist with transitions and classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment.
