Job summary

Pepsi of Worcester & Windham is seeking a driven sales/merchandising professional to manage product placement, displays and in-store promotions across designated accounts. You will stock, rotate and shelve products, set up displays, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize sales opportunities.

The role emphasizes merchandising standards, relationship-building with customers, and execution of promotional plans to meet Windham Pepsi-Cola’s business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail experience.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Ability to lift 20–55 pounds and move pallets.
• Experience using an iOS handheld device.
• Able to work daytime hours, weekends and holidays.
• Strong merchandising and organization skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pepsi of Worcester & Windham is a family-owned and operated independent Pepsi franchise in operation since 1956. We service the greater Worcester County, MA and Windham County, CT areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join the Fast-Paced beverage world by working for the leader in the industry. We are currently looking to fill sales/merchandising roles as we expand our workforce to meet customer demand.

The purpose of this role is to sell and merchandise product within designated accounts. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g., SDL, delivery) that help align ourselves better with the customer.
• Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts.
• Maximize profitable sales opportunities by thoroughly understanding the customer's business and building relationships based on trust and integrity.
• Successfully sell promotional plans that align with and support the customer's and Windham Pepsi-Cola’s business objectives and strategies.
• Ability to collaboratively sell and overcome customer objections for display and incremental opportunities.
• Sell-in and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to use an iOS handheld device
• Moving products within a store (for example, safely stacking and moving products on equipment such as a U-boat, hand truck/dolly and/or breakdown)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• This position requires lifting, loading, bending, squatting, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20 – 55 pounds, and moving pallets with a pallet jack. Must be able to push/pull up to 50-250 pounds.
• Merchandising products to employer/customer set standards
• Managing & rotating backroom/stock room inventory (organizing pallets, stacking and storing inventory or products)
• Must be able to work daytime hours, weekends and holidays
• Must have valid Driver's License in good standing
• Minimum 5 years retail experience
