Job summary

Beacon Behavioral Hospital, Inc. is seeking a DRIVER - BR IOP for full-time clerical support in Baton Rouge, LA. The role concentrates on safe client transport, documentation, and collaboration with treatment teams.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred one year of mental health care and passenger transport experience, and be able to meet CPR and Crisis Prevention training requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• One year experience in a mental health care setting preferred (as Mental Health Technician or CNA).
• One year experience with passenger transportation preferred.
• Education in a mental health related field may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates teamwork within the Beacon Hospital program.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu and support treatment teams.
• Transport clients to and from the facility and their residence.
• Maintain a current chauffeur's license and vehicle upkeep.
• Document vehicle maintenance as required.
• Develop rapport with clients and caregivers to inform treatment teams.
