Job summary

Mustang Creek Estates in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in creating engaging programs for memory care residents. The role focuses on planning and implementing daily activities that promote mental, physical, and social well-being.

You will coordinate a monthly calendar, run group and one-to-one activities, and accompany residents to events, with scheduling that includes weekends. PTO and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with assisted living or memory care activities.
• Ability to plan and implement daily activities.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement three to four activities per day based on resident interests and needs.
• Create and approve the monthly activity calendar.
• Conduct large, small, and one-to-one activities to provide stimulation and social engagement.
• Inform residents and staff of changes to the schedule promptly.
• Evaluate programming quality through surveys and direct feedback.
• Escort residents to and from activities.
