Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant in New York, NY to provide care for client employees at our Health Center. The role focuses on onsite phlebotomy duties and support for the lab, with hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will hold national MA certification or approved program with externship, and current BLS certification. Premise Health offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting or approved MA program with externship completed and transcripts.
• Current certification with hands-on training in Basic Life Support (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Maintain patient health records with up-to-date information.
• Prepare treatment rooms; clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications and perform laboratory tests.
• Operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Assist at the front desk; schedule appointments and order supplies.
