Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. in Westerville, Ohio, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care. This full-time, first-shift position (32 hours per week) offers benefits eligibility.

Duties include escorting patients, taking histories, measuring vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, front-office support and patient education on care-gap closures. Knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology is essential, with preferred familiarity

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferred.
• Must have proficient computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Record medical, social and family history.
• Measure vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).
• Complete blood draws and injections for patients.
• Complete EKGs for patients.
• Assist with front office duties.
• Assist with educating patient on care-gap closures.
• Other duties as assigned.
