Job summary

Talentify in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support in our primary care setting. You will work with the clinical team to prepare patients, take vital signs, assist with exams, collect specimens, administer vaccines, and maintain patient privacy under HIPAA guidelines.

The position requires graduation from an MA program, HS diploma, and MA certification if possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program is required.
• MA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the clinical care team to deliver patient care.
• Take vital signs and document them in the EHR.
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for exams; assist with procedures.
• Administer injections and collect specimens as directed.
• Perform blood draws and processing of specimens.
• Review orders, call in prescriptions, and communicate test results to patients.
• Assist with patient education using provided tools and materials.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
