Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician’s office.
• Experience with EMR systems required; NextGen is a plus.
• Ability to work in both front-office and back-office roles.
• Patient-centered approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, medical history, and assist in patient intake.
• Room patients and maintain exam rooms.
• Enter medications and assist in medication prescribing.
• Order labs and imaging.
• Schedule patients and provide front-office support.
• Triage patients and apply clinical judgment.
• Answer phones and direct calls to providers.
