Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Full Time Medical Assistant in Deerfield, IL. You will provide care to employees and dependents in our on-site Health Center, assisting with vital signs, specimen collection, injections, and basic clinic operations.

The role includes maintaining medical records, preparing rooms, and performing diagnostic procedures under state regulations. A CMA or equivalent certification with hands-on externship is required, plus BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification from a recognized certifying body or Premise Health equivalent.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• State Lab Certificate (NV) is optional but preferred where applicable.
• CMA certification from recognized bodies or Premise Health equivalent is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Maintain patient health records with accuracy.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications, perform labs, EKGs within state regulations.
• Assist front desk, schedule appointments, make follow-up calls, order supplies.
• Others as assigned.
