HCA Florida NeuSpine Institute in Florida is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant for a full-time, weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, days) with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. The role supports physicians through patient prep, injections, lab work, and minor surgical assistance.

You will take histories, monitor vital signs, prepare rooms, and manage phone referrals while contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience.
• Candidates with one year of medical work experience without MA certification must obtain certification within one year of hire date.
• Recent graduates will obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.
• Active and unrevoked MA-related certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Provide injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls and screen referrals for the practice.
