Job summary

Memorial NeuroSpine, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift (Monday–Friday). You will prepare patients, take histories and vitals, assist with injections, labs, and minor procedures, and support the clinical team.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of medical assisting or direct clinical care, with Medical Assistant Certification required or eligible for certification within specified timelines. Benefits are provided and equal opportunity is stated.

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant Certification is required or eligible for certification within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer phone calls and screen for referrals.
