Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking a full-time G1-G2 Math Teacher to deliver a structured curriculum, lead virtual classes, and mentor early learners. The role emphasizes teaching quality, student growth, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative team.

Onboarding starts August 2026 with teaching beginning September 2026. Expect 30–40 hours per week, Pacific Time class windows, and potential relocation to the Bay Area for career growth and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Strong math foundation, comfortable with U.S. Elementary School math content or above; Education, Child Development, Math Education, Psychology, or related majors preferred
• Fluent, confident English instruction skills, plus ability to communicate with parents and internal team members in Chinese or bilingually
• Meaningful prior experience with young learners (tutoring, camp teaching, after-school programs, classroom teaching, mentoring)
• Open to feedback, self-reflective, and able to adjust teaching and service approach
• Genuine interest in a long-term teaching career and growth at Think Academy
• Available during class windows; available on at least one weekend day

Responsibilities

• Teach G1-G2 math using our curriculum, materials, and guidance
• Lead virtual classes with engaging classroom energy
• Grade homework, provide timely feedback, and communicate with parents
• Understand lesson goals and common sticking points to ensure effective teaching
• Participate in training, lesson prep, and ongoing professional development
