Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for a Material Handler. Earn $19.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential. Full-time shifts available with 1st, 2nd and weekend schedules. You will move merchandise, pack and ship orders, and support multiple departments while upholding safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities include data input for reports, customer service to vendors and locations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Flexibility for overtime and attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions for safety and efficiency.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Able to multi-task across duties and departments.
• Willingness to cross-train in at least two departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading/unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide quality internal and external customer service to vendors, associates, and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA and company safety rules, reporting violations to supervisors.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to dress code.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and work designated shifts with overtime as needed.
