Job summary

Kohl's is hiring a Material Handler in the United States for full-time shifts. You will prepare, process and move merchandise safely and efficiently, cross-training across departments to support operations.

Responsibilities include receiving and processing merchandise, data entry for reports, and delivering high-quality service to vendors and stores while adhering to safety rules and company policies. Overtime and variable shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• English proficiency sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions for safety and efficiency
• Teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities
• Ability to cross-train in at least 2 departments

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers
• Input data to prepare reports
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance
• Promote a safe work environment by following all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules and promptly reporting violations
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and comply with dress code requirements
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and work designated shifts with overtime as needed
