ImageCare Radiology in Randolph, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist to join our team. This position performs quality mammography x-ray exams, supports patient care, and ensures HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced imaging center. Onboarding begins with reporting to Mount Olive on day one.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for Mammography Technologist.
• BLS certification preferred.
• 1 year of medical imaging experience preferred (mammography/x-ray).
• Ability to maintain HIPAA practices and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mammography x-rays and ensure image quality.
• Maintain patient care standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Verify exam orders in EMR and PACS and manage records.
• Stock rooms with supplies and keep a clean work area.
• Complete continuing education to maintain ARRT certification.
• Onboarding: report to Mount Olive on day one.

ImageCare is seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist for our Randolph office. All candidates must report to Mount Olive on their first day for onboarding.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

To perform quality mammography x-rays films for referring physicians for diagnosing a patient's condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Perform and process routine mammography x-rays.
• 2. Perform 100 mammographies per year to maintain certification.
• 3. Stock rooms with supplies.
• 4. Demonstrate excellent patient care
• 5. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training
• 6. Always verify patient with exam order and study to be performed
• 7. Maintenance and organization of patient film file records in our EMR and on site as needed.
• 8. Handling patient priors as needed.
• 9. Checking and verifying exam with EMR order vs Rx
• 10. Verifying images, notes, authorization number if pertinent to patient exams.
• 11. Verifying Physician study routing preferences.
• 12. Scan in patient paperwork and verify exams in PACS with all necessary information for Radiologist to read exam.
• 13. Maintains continuing education as required to ensure ARRT certification.
• 14. Maintain clean and stocked work area.
• 15. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training
• 16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
