ImageCare Radiology in New Jersey seeks a Mammography Technologist for our Jefferson office. Onboarding starts at Mount Olive on day one. The role focuses on quality mammography imaging and patient care, with a Saturday 8:00am – 4:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in medical imaging.
• 1 year of Mammography experience preferred.
• 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.
• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process routine mammography x-rays.
• Maintain patient care and HIPAA practices.
• Verify orders, document exams in EMR/PACS.
• Stock and organize work area and supplies.
• Maintain imaging quality and alignment with radiologists.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assist with on-site workflow and room readiness.
• Support continuing education to maintain ARRT certification.
• Coordinate with referring physicians and departments.
• Adhere to facility policies and QA procedures.
• Scan patient paperwork and ensure accurate study routing.
• Maintain accurate film/file records.
• Report any issues to the supervising radiologist.

ImageCare is seeking a Mammography Technologist for our Jefferson office. All candidates must report to Mount Olive on their first day for onboarding.

Schedule:

Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

To perform quality mammography x-rays films for referring physicians for diagnosing a patient's condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Perform and process routine mammography x-rays.
• 2. Perform 100 mammographies per year to maintain certification.
• 3. Stock rooms with supplies.
• 4. Demonstrate excellent patient care
• 5. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training
• 6. Always verify patient with exam order and study to be performed
• 7. Maintenance and organization of patient film file records in our EMR and on site as needed.
• 8. Handling patient priors as needed.
• 9. Checking and verifying exam with EMR order vs Rx
• 10. Verifying images, notes, authorization number if pertinent to patient exams.
• 11. Verifying Physician study routing preferences.
• 12. Scan in patient paperwork and verify exams in PACS with all necessary information for Radiologist to read exam.
• 13. Maintains continuing education as required to ensure ARRT certification.
• 14. Maintain clean and stocked work area.
• 15. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training
• 16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
