Job summary

Highlands-Vista-Group-Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Windsor on the River in Cedar Rapids, IA. This full-time role maintains the property's equipment, systems, and facilities, performing routine and preventative maintenance and addressing service requests to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and basic plumbing and electrical skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, systems, and property structures.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance concerns.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Fabricate and install components to maintain property standards.
Maintain records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
Assist with snow removal and seasonal property upkeep.
Collaborate with property management to ensure efficiency.
Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
Perform other duties as needed.
