Job summary

The United Group of Companies, Inc. in Troy, NY is seeking a full-time Porter for The Six, a mixed-use apartment community. You will perform daily cleaning of common areas, manage trash removal, clean windows, and assist with basic maintenance tasks.

This non-exempt role runs Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with Mondays and Sundays off unless directed. Requirements include a High School Diploma and 1+ year of residential property maintenance or cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in residential property maintenance.
• Experience with professional cleaning/general housekeeping.
• Light maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates integrity and problem-solving in maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums and cleans common areas and offices.
• Trash removal for residential units and common areas.
• Cleans windows, floors, and glass surfaces as needed.
• Maintains cleaning supplies inventory and equipment.
• Assists in landscaping, minor maintenance, or other tasks as needed.
