Job summary

RHP Properties is seeking a Maintenance Groundskeeper for the Brookside Country Club community in El Monte, CA. The role supports general grounds care, basic repairs to homes, and timely execution of work orders to keep neighborhoods safe and appealing.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and competence in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• May need to provide own tools
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Comfort working in community settings and with residents

Responsibilities

• Maintain homes and community areas in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Interact with residents, prospective residents, visitors and staff with courtesy and professionalism.
• Identify deficiencies and take corrective action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds: landscaping, weed control, trimming, mulching, and debris removal.
• Perform snow removal and seasonal maintenance as required.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; monitor supplies and safety procedures.
• Assist in refurbishing Community Owned homes and repairing water/sewer lines.
