TerraBella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. Our communities offer a range of senior living and care options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short-term Respite Care, with over 2200 units in total.

Position: Facility Operations Assistant at TerraBella Thornblade

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and complete service requests for repairs and upkeep of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment, and vehicles efficiently.
• Conduct tasks such as fixing wall and floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting, and refurbishing.
• Support the execution of the preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with systems such as HVAC, domestic water, refrigeration, motors, fans, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
• Maintain carpets and hard surface floors.
• Perform deep cleaning and prepare suites for new residents.
• Participate in Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness evacuation procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• At least one year of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience.
• Basic technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance.
• Understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
