Job summary

UCS Healthcare in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medication unit. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7 AM–3 PM, reporting to Nursing Supervisor. You will administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients in treatment.
• Perform nursing assessments and H&Ps on new admissions or readmissions.
• Review prescriptions and OTC meds for safety and patient awareness.
• Carry out physician orders including telephone orders.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document patient status clearly and report changes to the team.
