Cascades Independent Living Restaurant in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Full-Time Line Cook to join our dining services team and prepare quality meals for residents, staff, and guests. You will work in a collaborative kitchen focused on teamwork, quality, and hospitality.

As part of the dining services, you will follow established recipes, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing training. The role requires standing, lifting, and moving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to recipes and menu requirements.
• Assist with all phases of food preparation for the restaurant.
• Follow proper sanitation, storage, and food-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen spaces and equipment.
• Label, store, and rotate food items properly.
• Work closely with Executive Chef and dining services team and participate in training.
