Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Cook for Bridgewood Rivers (Assisted Living) to prepare nutritious meals for residents. You will contribute to a supportive community by maintaining a clean kitchen, meeting dietary requirements, and working closely with a team to deliver consistent, high-quality dining experiences.

The role emphasizes reliability, timely shifts, and professional representation of the Cascade Living community across day and evening hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in nutrition, food preparation, safe food handling techniques and food service management.
• Experience working in institutional cooking including mechanical, pureed, finger food and renal diets
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including properly distributing and storing away food
• Ensure all special dietary needs are met
• Work in a team environment where communication is key
• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
