Heaven Hill invites qualified candidates to join the Five Brothers Kitchen at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, KY as a Full Time Line Cook. You will participate in all kitchen functions, ensuring quality, sanitation, and teamwork.

The role requires at least 3 years in varied kitchen positions, ability to obtain Serv Safe Certification, and strong communication with managers and staff; standard shift is 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of varied kitchen experience including line cook, fry cook, and expediter.
• Ability to obtain Serv Safe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food per recipes and standards.
• Fill in to maintain guest service and efficiency.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Work with kitchen manager to meet portions and recipes.
• Control food costs through proper storage and waste procedures.
• Follow kitchen policies and safety procedures.
• Adhere to state and federal food safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperatures.

This role is onsite at Five Brothers Kitchen at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience based in Bardstown, KY.

Standard first shift schedule is 9:00am - 5:30pm (including some weekends).

What the Role Is

Line Cooks are responsible for participating in all kitchen functions, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness at the Five Brothers Kitchen.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served per the restaurant's re cipes, portioning, cooking,and serving standards
• Fill in where needed to ensureguest service standards and efficient operations
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
• Work withthekitchen managersto meetand deliver correctportionsizes andrecipes
• Ensurefood cost is met bymeetingcorrect recipes, storage,and waste control procedures
• Follow all restaurant policies andkitchenproceduresput forth by Kitchen Managers
• Adhere to restaurant and company rules, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to safe operationstandards for allkitchen equipment and utensils
• Follow all cleaning and sanitation schedules
• Check andmaintainproper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
• Adhere to allState and Federal guidelines forfood safety and sanitation regulations

Who You Are…

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook ,and expediter required
• Ability to obtain Person in Charge or Serv Safe Certification
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers,kitchenpersonnel,and dining room personnel
• Be able to work in a standing position forlongperiods
• Reliable Transportation
