Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally-informed mental health assessments that holistically capture each patient's background and unique challenges, leading to tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, adapting interventions to reflect the individual’s cultural and personal context.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that address mental health issues while fostering resilience and personal growth.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members for well-rounded, coordinated care.
• Support clients in crisis by providing immediate intervention techniques and therapeutic support during mental health emergencies.

• Maintain detailed, confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards leveraging advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Stay up-to-date with mental health research and best practices, incorporating relevant findings into therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals from various cultural backgrounds, including those facing challenges related to identity, discrimination, and access to resources. This role requires a deep understanding of the psychological impacts of cultural dynamics and the ability to provide empathetic care that respects these influences.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience
