Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider patients' unique backgrounds and experiences to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring interventions are culturally sensitive and responsive to individual patient needs.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on resilience-building and coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, fostering interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your skills to manage high-pressure situations.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, prioritizing ethical standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily serve individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ patients, and immigrant communities. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and a strong foundation in cultural competence.
• Hands-on experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, employing culturally responsive approaches.
• Exceptional crisis intervention expertise, particularly in managing acute mental health situations.
• Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to engage with diverse individuals and build rapport.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications for efficient case management.

Preferred Experience
