Work Environment

As a remote practice, our outpatient office allows for flexibility while ensuring that therapists maintain a supportive connection with colleagues and clients. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain comprehensive insights into each patient’s background and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, taking into account patients' cultural contexts.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and enhancing overall well-being.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively, ensuring holistic treatment for all clients.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, helping them navigate their critical moments.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in alignment with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in regular team meetings and continuing education sessions to stay current with the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations within the field.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in culturally responsive therapy.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering rapport with diverse individuals and communities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.
• Commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting professional boundaries.
• A collaborative spirit, ready to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy within multicultural settings, with a focus on underserved populations.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
