Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression and anxiety.
• Work closely with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in your clinical practice.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self‑care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health.
• Track patient progress through regular monitoring and documentation while making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to create an integrated care approach that addresses both therapeutic and pharmacological needs.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment, implementing new findings to enhance client care.
• Record accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety‑related conditions. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.
• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic modalities specifically addressing mood disorders.
• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary context.
• Proven history of achieving positive treatment outcomes within mental health settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with mood disorders or related mental health issues.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
