Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or preferred
• 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping preferred

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents’ care and comfort
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove any linens with holes or stains
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed
• Label new residents' clothing items as needed
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follow sanitary processes related to laundry duties; maintain inventory of supplies
• Use laundry equipment safely and report equipment issues to the Administrator
