Morrison Healthcare—part of Compass Group USA—is hiring for a Food Service Utility at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL. Full-time schedules run from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm; weekends required. Prior dishwashing, janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred.

Join a team dedicated to high standards of cleanliness and patient comfort. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to food service operations and daily patient care in a hospital

Qualifications

• Prev. dishwashing, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
