Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning items and areas such as broilers, fryers, grills, ovens, range hoods, ware washing machines, floors, and walk-ins according to standards.
2. Rinsing dishware, tableware, and service ware before dishwashing.
3. Practicing health and safety standards set by governmental agencies.
4. Washing hands at points of contamination.
5. Cleaning and mopping kitchen floors.
6. Following 3-compartment sink procedures.
7. Weekly de-liming of dish machines.
8. Using chemicals properly and knowing their locations.
9. Reporting malfunctions of dishwashing and other equipment.
10. Maintaining dishwashers and cleaning all kitchen equipment and areas.
11. Empting trash and cardboard to dumpsters.
12. Multi-tasking and communicating effectively for safety.
13. Providing good internal customer service.
14. Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors, such as cleaning ice machines, hand sinks, and replenishing supplies.

Physical demands include exerting up to 50 pounds of force, with work involving reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

This role is entry level, full-time, within the management and manufacturing job functions in the hospitality industry.
