Mount Carmel College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time nursing faculty position. The instructor will teach nursing courses, evaluate student progress, and advise students to support their academic goals.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a preferred Master's degree; active Ohio RN licensure and related CPR certification as applicable. Strong communication and scholarly engagement are expected.

In accordance with the Mission, Core Values and Vision; the Instructor functions within the mission and strategic plan of Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Primary function of this position is the instruction of Mount Carmel College of Nursing students. Evaluates and maintains academic records regarding the progress of students. Advises students in academic matters.

Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements. Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel following the principles of our interdisciplinary care delivery system. (For patient care providers) Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. (For nursing faculty) Functions in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing OAC 4723-5-19 Responsibilities of Faculty Teaching a Nursing Course and OAC 4723-5-20 Responsibilities of Faculty and Instructional Personnel in a Clinical Setting or other state regulations as amended.
