Warren Barr Lincoln Park is seeking a Full-Time Psychotropic/Infection Preventionist to strengthen our infection control program. You will plan, coordinate, and direct activities to keep residents safe and to meet Joint Commission and CMS standards.

The role requires a nursing degree (RN or LPN) and an Illinois license, plus certification in infection prevention. You will train staff, enforce policies, and collaborate with clinical leadership to uphold clinical excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college and a current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Must complete the Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Certification course as approved by CDC.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct the facility's infection control program.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, CMS, CDC and IDPH regulations for long-term care.
• Provide training to staff to prevent and control infections in residents.
• Demonstrate independent decision-making in timely actions when warranted.
• Lead and supervise clinical and support staff to maintain high standards of care.
