Playful Minds Learning Center LLC is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher in Connecticut. The role emphasizes preparing developmentally appropriate learning opportunities aligned with our curriculum and vision.

You report to the Lead/Head Teacher and Program Director and supervise an assistant teacher, contributing to a safe and engaging classroom environment. The position runs full-time with a starting CT salary of $20.00-$24.00 per hour and benefits including PTO, holidays, sick leave, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• CDA credential or equivalent
• Two-year high school vocational program in early childhood

Responsibilities

• Uphold the philosophy of Playful Minds and be a positive representative of the organization
• Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with children and families
• Maintain safety, organization, and cleanliness of the classroom and follow licensing requirements
• Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Playful Minds curriculum
• Inform Lead/Head Teacher or Assistant Director of any parent complaints
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings
• All staff are Mandated Reporters
• Ensure health and safety of all children
