The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help open a new toddler room with our littlest learners. You will create a safe, loving classroom and implement the LEAP Curriculum to support early development.

You will build relationships with families through daily updates and photos, collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership, and help guide assistant teachers while ensuring compliance with Connecticut licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience with toddlers in a licensed center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication, organizational and classroom management skills.
• Must meet Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
• Positive, dependable and team-oriented attitude.

Pay Rate:

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
